Stars in New Zealand

No, this is not an entry about celebrities.

When it comes to star gazing, New Zealand ranks in the top 10 of places to be. Lake Tekapo being one of them. But when I was there, the clouds blocked the view. Imagine how thrilled I was last night. With almost clear skies at Aoraki Mt. Cook I had a fantastic view on the night sky. It is just a breathtaking view. If you’re lucky enough to spot the odd star in a rural area, you will be amazed by the millions of stars you’ll see far from any light pollution.

The morning is really cloudy and cold: about 8°C and I am litreally in the clouds. Almost.

So I took the time to give you at least a first try on last nights adventure. Twinkle, twinkle, little star…
