Goodbye Edinburgh

It’s a cloudy, overcast morning on the campsite in Edinburgh. Last night’s raindrops are still running down alongside the camper and wet mist is keeping the air damp and my clothes wet.

I’ve cleared up in the campervan and will disconnect the electric in an little while. Then it’s goodbye for this time. It’s been a wonderful visit to Edinburgh and Scotland this year and somehow I am very sure that I will return someday. Maybe even sooner rather than later.

I had a good and relaxing day in Edinburgh yesterday. After my second breakfast the sun had broken through the clouds and I walked along Princess Gardens and around the Old Town, went up towards the castle. And down the Royal Mile. Just a nice day concluded with an evening meal at Wagamama.

Now, I will head towards one last stop along the way before catching the ferry from Hull back to Rotterdam over night. Saves a bit off the journey as drive down to Harwich would be longer.
