Leg 1 – Arrival in Stockholm

The night on the ferry was calm, just a few waves, but not too much movement. Unfortunately, I lay awake for too long due to the loud fan of the air condition. Even with earplugs it was a bit noisy.

We arrived on time in Göteborg and as the ferry was well booked, it took a while to get off. Just a quick chat with customs on off I went to drive up to Stockholm. I made the usual stop roughly at the half-way mark (maybe a bit more than that) to get my shopping done at ICA Maxi. Then I took the second lap towards the capital of Scandinavia. Actually made a short to to fill up on Diesel shortly before my destination so that I won‘t have to worry about that when I leave for the far north.

As soon as I had set up the camper for the night, I took out my bike to cycle to a Telia shop. My short ride this afternoon can be viewed here on Komoot. It was raining and the sun was shining at the same time!! What a way to be greeted. Took the way along the side of the Old Town and Södermalm back to Långholmen, where I am now relaxing in the camper, after it took me a long while to get everything started with the Blog and supporting apps…
