  • Lunchtime

Lunch at Durty Nelly’s.  It must seem like I’m always eating… Anyway, here’s a nice Irish Pub in Halifax. The same I went to for my first meal when I arrived on Thursda.  Now, I am still having issues with the WordPress Apps, but I hope you’ll be able to see my snapshots.

  • Peggy’s Cove

Yesterday’s trip to Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove was wonderful. The beautiful drive along the light house route on this bright and sunny day made it perfect. Here are a few snapshots from Peggy’s Cove and the lighthouse.

  • Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse

Now I’m waiting for the sun to set after all… If I should be able to tweak some of the photos later, I might post more tomorrow.

  • Lunch Time

Having lunch at the Old Fish Factory Restaurant in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.  After walking through town on this beautiful sunny day, I got hungry and went to eat a delicious seafood chowder. Lovely! On the way back to Halifax, I will make a stop in Peggy’s Cove to see the lighthouse again.

  • Shop on the Corner Café

First stop in Lunenburg is this cute café where I stopped for a cup of tea. Wonderful place, shop/café in one. And loads of pastries. Couldn’t resist a coconut macaroon with my Scottish Breakfast tea.

  • Day Trip

On my way to Lunenburg this sunny morning. Rented a car (smallest available) and drove off in the early morning. It’s a beautiful day here in Nova Scotia!

  • Breakfast

Mmmmh… Delicious pancakes with real maple syrup for breakfast at the Bluenose II Restaurant.  I thought I’d give uploading pictures another try, so here’s my breakfast: It’s a sunny, but cold beautiful morning here in Halifax. I’m heading up to the citadel in a while taking it easy.

  • Arrived in Halifax

After the most horrible flight I have experienced since I started flying long haul (I may leave it for another post, for now I just want to move on, but let me say as much as that I won’t fly Condor again any time soon), I have finally arrived in Halifax. Fantastic! It’s surprisingly warm here.…
