After a relaxing morning today including some teeny-tiny bit of shopping, I walked back to and through Gamla Stan, the Old Town. I even caught the beginning of the changing of the guards at the castle. The Olde Town was bustling with tourists, too many people crowding the place for my taste. As one of my most favorite restaurants to visit this summer had closed permanently, I chose to eat lunch in Gamla Stan instead. Afterwards, I went for a short stroll through the just slightly lesser frequented alleyways and made it back to the camper for a short rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a short rest, I decided on the spur of the moment to rent a kayak and paddel around L\u00e5ngholmen and Reimersholme. What a lovely and foremost new (!!) thing for me to do. I did get severely wet as they didn’t offer a spray-hood and of course I caught a small rain shower, but who would care with such a lovely time on the water!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
