Stockholm<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I arrived in Stockholm today. The day was sunny, and even though the air and the wind are already a bit on the chilly side, I had a lovely short bike ride along the M\u00e4laren to the Old Town and Skeppsholmen. At Skeppsbroajen, the G\u00f6theborg had docked. An impressive replica of the Swedish East Indiaman \u201cG\u00f6theborg I\u201d that had sunk in 1745 off the coast of G\u00f6teborg. https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/G\u00f6theborg_(ship)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made my way across the bridges to Skeppsholmen. Not planning anything in particular I was only going for a short ride anyway. I will stay two days, so there\u2018s no rush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon I went out again to get some food from one of my favourite places to eat. Wagamama. Love it!! Had some Edamame and Katsu Curry. Afterwards it came to me, that it might have been a better idea just to sit down at the water front of Norr M\u00e4larstrand rather than to cycle to the camper, but there are still two days left in Stockholm and who says, I cannot do that another day?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yes, I may still not be as carefree as the Swedes appear; at least it seems that there are no rules regarding testing or vaccination status in place and therefore I decided to order take out instead of dining in. In the shops, I\u2018m apparently the only one to wear a (FFP2) mask, but honestly, I have gotten used to it over the past year and a half. And if that\u2018s what keeps me safer, then I\u2018m ok with people looking at me funny\u2026 (They probably do that anyway.)

So, off to the quieter part of the evening now. Curious on how I will sleep tonight. The central location may also prove to show its disadvantages. But, mind you, people talking loudly on the camp site at 2.45 am last night, didn\u2018t make my night any better\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
