<\/p>\nAfter an early start today, I drove from the town of Donegal to Slieve League. I was early (and probably woke up the occupants of the two campervans parked at the bottom of the road). I parked up and made my way along the road. Had I known, that you\u2019d be allowed to take the car through the gate\u2026 it would have saved about twenty to thirty minutes walk each way. But, and that\u2019s the good part, it already was a beautiful walk along the paved road taking in the scenery and meeting all the sheep at the side of the road. (Unlike the sheep in the middle of the road I\u2019d meet later on\u2026)
\nSlieve League is an impressive coast line, some say, even more beautiful than the Cliffs of Moher. Not having been there, I cannot comment, but Slieve League is truly beautiful. I took my time taking in the stunning views walking along the paths a bit.<\/p>\n

My next stop was Malin Beg, a truly beautiful horseshoe-shaped beach. You have to take 250 steps down (and up again – but I didn\u2019t count, just took the word of the friendly tourist information for it) to reach it. The sun had been out all morning and just the chilly breeze made the experience a bit colder than necessary. That didn\u2019t stop an Irish man walking along the beach naked\u2026 It would have been too cold for my taste\u2026! Still, I had prepared lunch in the van before I walked down and so I sat down in the sun and ate my sandwiches on the beach. Wonderful!<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, I drove to a touring caravan site in Dongloe. The WiFi is not reaching me here, thus I am keeping this entry shorter, because I wanted to upload a few snapshots. Not sure the images are the best quality, but it\u2019s getting late and I will try to sort this out another day\u2026<\/p>\n
Right now, after posting this using the WiFi at the reception, I will get cosy in my camper, make plans for tomorrow, and read a book.<\/p>\n
