New Beginnings

There has been a huge change in my life this week:
On Monday, I brought home my first puppy. Emil, an Alaskan Malamute, moved in at nine weeks of age. So, technically there has been a huge change in two lives this week.
The first days were exciting and wonderful. He got to know his new home and it is wonderful to see him settling in. He is, and I am not exaggerating here, THE most wonderful, beautiful, cute, and sweet puppy of all times!

The way home was of course upsetting at first. I had to stop to calm him down a bit.

After that, he cuddled up in front of the passenger seat and basically slept through most of the trip back to Mannheim.
